Below are some of the most common questions we receive. If you have any other questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
What happens during my initial consultation?
First, we listen to you and understand the nature and mechanisms of your injury along with how it is affecting your daily life.
This will guide our physical examination, where we will perform various orthopaedic and neurological tests to precisely determine the nature of your injury.
Once we have a deep understanding of the situation we explain to you in clear and precise language what’s wrong, how to fix it and how long it will take.
Occasionally, further tests or diagnostic imaging (X-rays, MRI, etc) are required, but we will fully inform you if this is the case.
Most of the time we will commence treatment during this appointment to determine the response and appropriateness of our course of care.
How much does it cost?
Initial Consultation $110
Report of Findings (2nd Visit) $80
Subsequent Consultations $60
Extended Consultation $80
Will I need and x-ray?
Most often, no.
If there is a clinical reason for x-rays or any other imaging then we will discuss that with you and refer you to the appropriate facility.
If you have had any images or tests that are relevant to your situation, please bring them in with you to your initial consultation.
What should I wear to my appointment?
Comfortable clothing is fine. Something that you can freely move in.
We have shorts available if required.
